VYBE01 / WHY WE NEED TO ACT
Bullying, grooming, scams and harmful content cross platforms. Our response needs to cross them, too.
15% of 11-, 13- and 15-year-olds in the HBSC study across 44 countries and regions.
WHO/Europe · 2024, data 2021/22 ↗Of 15-year-olds across OECD countries reported this experience online, based on PISA 2022.
OECD · 2025, data 2022 ↗Received by NCMEC’s CyberTipline in 2025. Reports concern suspected exploitation; they are not counts of unique children.

02 / ABOUT THE INITIATIVE
A badge for services that turn their commitment to children’s online safety into action.
VYBE — Verified Youth Better Experience — is a voluntary initiative bringing together Valvur.ai, Passport.GG and Esports.NGO to develop practical tools and shared rules for youth-facing digital services.
Qualifying services will be able to display the VYBE badge in their product, on their website and in their communications. It connects a visible commitment to the safety measures, training and accountability behind it.
We’re recruiting pilot services, assessors and supporters. The standard, governance and assessment process are being developed. No marks are being issued through this website.
03 / THE VYBE CHARTER
To earn the badge, services must use Valvur.AI, train their staff and pledge to protect children online. Evidence and review turn these commitments into permission to display it.
Using Valvur.AI is required to earn and retain the VYBE badge. Integrate the Valvur.AI safety measures agreed for your service’s risks and age groups, keep them active and demonstrate that they work in practice.
Train staff to recognise and respond to risks affecting children. Make safety part of product decisions and daily operations.
Make a public commitment to protect children’s safety, privacy and rights — and follow it with ongoing action.

VERIFIED YOUTH
BETTER EXPERIENCE
VISIBLE TRUST. VERIFIABLE PRACTICE.
The proposed VYBE badge will give qualifying services a visible way to communicate their commitment to children’s online safety. Permission to display it follows assessment of a specific service, version, age range and market.
The mark would not guarantee zero risk or replace legal duties. Proposed rules include remediation, reassessment and withdrawal. Valvur.AI integration is mandatory, but does not by itself earn the badge. Staff training, the pledge and a successful review are also required.
YOUR COMMITMENT, WHERE PEOPLE CAN SEE IT
The VYBE badge is designed to travel with the approved service — helping families, users and partners recognise a commitment backed by action.
01 / INSIDE YOUR SERVICE
Children’s safety is part of our experience.

Display it on a welcome screen, safety centre or service profile, with a route to the verified scope.
02 / ON YOUR WEBSITE
Add it to your homepage, footer or dedicated safety page, linked to the service’s Safety Passport.
03 / IN YOUR COMMUNICATIONS
Use approved badge artwork in social posts, launch announcements, presentations and partner materials.
Illustrative placements — not certified services. Approved services would receive badge assets and usage guidelines. Display must match the assessed scope and current status; expired, suspended or withdrawn badges must be removed.
THE REQUIREMENT BEHIND THE BADGE
Valvur.AI integration is mandatory. Combine active protection with staff training, the safety pledge and successful review to qualify for permission to display VYBE.
04 / JOIN THE INITIATIVE
Integrate Valvur.AI. Train your staff. Pledge to protect.
Join the pilot and work towards the VYBE badge.

A FEW THINGS TO KNOW
No. This is an initiative in development. We are inviting partners to co-create and pilot the criteria, tools and independent assessment process before issuing marks.
Yes. Using Valvur.AI is a requirement to earn and retain the VYBE badge. The integration must cover the safety measures agreed for your service and remain active. Staff training, the safety pledge and successful assessment are also required; purchasing Valvur.AI alone does not qualify a service.
Once approved, a service will be able to use the badge in its app or service, on its website and relevant app-store materials, and in social posts, presentations and other communications about the assessed service. Badge use must stay within the approved scope and validity period, follow brand guidelines and link to the service’s Safety Passport wherever practical. It must be removed if approval expires, is suspended or is withdrawn.
The exact service and version assessed, age range, jurisdictions, verified practices, assessor identity, assessment and expiry dates, limitations and current status. This public record is planned as part of the pilot.
The partner portal is planned for the pilot. Use Partner login to request onboarding or preview the planned workspace. This website does not collect passwords or grant certification.
